Tree Poem

Hello my friends,

I thought I would share with you a poem that my friend Sandy wrote for me - thought it was so lovely of her to do so - its about my trees. Well they are not my trees LOL - but you know what I mean.

Standing tall, Devoid of leaves, But not of feelings.   Looking forlorn, Cold and sad, But warm on the inside.   Slice me open, And I will bleed, But I will not die.   Isnt it lovely! I also want to say thank you to Stuart for thinking of me when he posted a beautiful tree pic in his journal the other day - how lovely that people think about me!!! Awwwww.   Well I'm worried because John has got a long journey home tonight and he is very very tired -Ive not seen him since Valentine night!!  Awww fond memories of that night!! LOL! Bless him - I miss him so much and he has only been away a night!! Is there something wrong with me - god I couldn't imagine life without him - I love him so so much!!! Well, you remember the other day that I said John had to go somewhere and I didnt quite say where - well it was for another job and they head hunted him! They want him badly for this position and he has been deliberating over what to do for several days now - anyway he is driving back from a long meeting with them now - it is good money and he says they have answered all his questions that he had - its working for someone who is in competition with the last company he worked for.  It will be selling in London mainly and then up to the North - they do have a salesman in the North - so there shouldnt be too much driving - ooooh its hard isnt it because he wasnt even thinking of leaving his present job but the money is better!! Anyway will let you know what we decide! Sorry I babbled on there!!!   Laine xxxxxxxx

Hope your Love lasts, and you always feel that way about John... I haven't seen my Man since Tuesday either, but we talk several times a Day, and he is less than 15 mins away by Car! My fave time is Fri/Sat/Sun...

I hope John makes the right decision regarding the job. I know what you mean by saying you miss him, I'd miss Andy if he was away!! Jeannette.
