poems

Hi guys,  Thanks for all your comments I'm well excited about seeing the show and I will post a review as soon as I can!  Now, my mate Sandy from America is a beautiful, lovely person and she has shared with me two poems that she wrote herself and I want to share them with you too. Here is the first one, I will be putting the other one on another day.  Please let me know what you think. Thanks Love Laine xxx

I saw, but you conquered

That first day
I was driving to meet you,
I saw the signs that said run away,
But I was determined to follow through,
To meet and then decide what I would do.
Then you touched my hair, my neck; I fell into your charms.
You kissed my face, my lips and I melted into your arms.

My mind said no,
That second time I saw you.
Intuition told me run, just go,
But I was determined to follow through;
To touch you again then know what to do.
Then you touched my hair, my neck; I fell into your charms.
You kissed my face, my lips and I melted into your arms.

This time I let
My voice told you we were through.
This time I was stubborn, I was set,
And I was determined to follow through
But you touched me and I was lost in you.

I saw, but you conquered.
I didn't listen, I just ignored
What was going through my head
How you were tugging at my heart,
And now that we're apart
All the things I should have said,
HowI long for your touch, your kiss
All the things that I now miss
Just because

You touched my hair, my neck; I fell into your charms.
You kissed my face, my lips and I melted into your arms.

I saw, but you conquered.
