Feeling guilty

Hi Guys,

Why do I feel guilty? Well my little Joe (pictured above) can act very well and pretend he is ill as I thought he was doing yesterday and this morning.  Well Sam was off for three days last week and it usually happens that Joe will try to blag some time off too.  Anyway, I sent him yesterday under protest and he was fine - few sniffles but not much else.  Then today when he got up he was very very quiet and didnt complain - so I took him into school and said that he was feeling poorly - they said they would ring if they thought he was.  Anyway, I got a phone call before school started  - my best mate Maria had found him in the playground crying!! Oh my god did I feel guilty!!!  Anyway, Maria said she would take him to his teacher and then I didnt hear anything all day.  But, as soon as he got home he laid on the settee and fell asleep - i took his temperature and it was over a 100!!! God did I feel bad - poor little mite - anyway I told him he can stay with me tomorrow!!! Even though Ive got college and that - well I'll have to take him with me and miss the lecture at 1:30pm.  I will be really spoiling him tomorrow!!!

Im frustrated because our very expensive graphic card, that we have had just over a year (so guarantee ran out!) has given up the ghost!!! So Im having to work on the onboard graphic card and it is very slow and the refresh rate is so frustrating!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr Im gonna have to buy a new one fast!!!! Anyone know anywhere on the net to buy a good one - preferably one that I can play my Sims on LOL.

Take care all

Laine xxxxxxxxx (and no I havent started my essay yet!!!!!!!)

Poor Joe, I hope he gets well soon. When I was about 8yrs old I felt ill but got sent to school. When I got home I laid down and went to sleep, mum found out later when the doctor came that my temperature was 104!! It's hard to tell when kids are genuinely ill. Jeannette.
