It is strange th...Pollacks work is in the detail. It is strange that his life was in a mess, but when he painted he was able to concentrate on the finest detail. When he did representational in earlier work he did not have the expertise that he found in pushing the boundries of art. I can see where you have created the energy in your painting and that is something that is not easy to do. The one thing that I do think is that art should represent life and not fantasy. Try doing sketches of landscapes and people in the classic style so that you have a jumping off point to do abstraction in a style unique to yourself. Other artists will encourage you when you are feeling like it is not going well. I am at the same point right now, as I just don't see the meaning of art, so I am not painting.
